Skoda Slavia 2026 Variants Explained: Which One Should You Buy?
Skoda Slavia 2026 prices from ₹9.99 lakh to ₹18.84 lakh. Every variant explained: what it adds, what it misses, monthly fuel cost, how it compares with the Virtus, Verna and City, and our pick.
The new Skoda Slavia is here, priced from ₹9.99 lakh to ₹18.84 lakh (ex-showroom). Before we get into the variants, three things make it stand out:
- Rear seat massager. No other sedan in this segment offers it.
- 360-degree camera for just ₹40,000 more. The Sportline gets it, and costs only ₹40,000 more than the Signature below it.
- It beats its own sibling. The Volkswagen Virtus, the segment’s best-selling sedan, uses the same engines but does not offer a 360-degree camera.
Below, we go through every variant’s price, what it gives you, what it leaves out, what it costs to run, and who should buy it.

Variant by variant
Think of the variants as a ladder. At each step, ask yourself: is what I get worth the extra money, or should I stop here?
The monthly figures below are the extra EMI for each step, assuming a 5-year car loan at 9% interest (every ₹1 lakh adds about ₹2,075 a month).
1. Classic: ₹9.99 lakh
What you get: six airbags, more than 25 safety features, Climatronic automatic climate control and the 1.0 TSI turbo-petrol engine with a 6-speed manual. The Slavia also carries a 5-star Global NCAP safety rating.
What you miss: 15-inch steel wheels, a small 7-inch touchscreen, an analogue driver display, no camera, no sunroof, and it is manual only.
Stop here if: you want a safe sedan with a turbo engine at the lowest possible price.
2. Classic+: +₹99,000 (about ₹2,050 more per month)
What it adds: electric sunroof, 16-inch alloy wheels, and the first automatic option in the line-up.
What you still miss: there is still no camera, and you get the same 7-inch screen.
Stop here if: you want an automatic on a tight budget. At ₹12.49 lakh, the Classic+ automatic is the cheapest automatic Slavia.
3. Signature: +₹2.95 lakh over Classic+ manual (about ₹6,100 more per month)
This is the biggest price jump in the line-up.
What it adds: a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen, an 8-inch digital driver display, a rear camera, built-in connected-car features and an AI voice assistant powered by Google Cloud.
What you miss: the 360-degree camera and the rear seat massager.
Stop here if: you want the big screen and connected features, and a rear camera is enough for you.
4. Sportline: +₹40,000 (about ₹830 more per month)
What it adds: a 360-degree camera, plus black alloy wheels and a sporty all-black theme.
Stop here if: you park in tight spots in the city every day. On a sedan this long, a 360-degree camera makes a real difference.
5. Prestige and Monte Carlo: +₹1.55 lakh over Sportline manual (about ₹3,200 more per month)
What it adds: a bigger 10.25-inch digital driver display, the rear seat massager, dual-tone alloy wheels with chrome highlights, and the option of the 1.5 TSI with the 7-speed DSG.
Monte Carlo is essentially the Prestige with a sportier look: black styling, red stripes and red brake calipers. It costs ₹40,000 more than the Prestige automatic (₹25,000 more on the 1.5 DSG) and is not available with a manual gearbox.
Climb to this step if: your family often has people in the back seat, or you want the extra power of the 1.5 litre engine. The 1.5 DSG costs ₹1.70 lakh more than the 1.0 automatic (about ₹3,500 more per month).

What it costs to run every month
Petrol at ₹105 a litre. These are our estimates, assuming real-world mileage of about 14 km/l for the 1.0 TSI and 12.5 km/l for the 1.5 TSI, since Skoda has not published mileage figures yet.
| Km per month | 1.0 TSI (≈ ₹7.5/km) | 1.5 TSI (≈ ₹8.4/km) |
|---|---|---|
| 500 | ₹3,750 | ₹4,200 |
| 1,000 | ₹7,500 | ₹8,400 |
| 1,500 | ₹11,250 | ₹12,600 |
| 2,000 | ₹15,000 | ₹16,800 |
| 2,500 | ₹18,750 | ₹21,000 |
| 3,000 | ₹22,500 | ₹25,200 |
In short: the real extra cost of the 1.5 TSI is in its purchase price, not its fuel bill.

The Slavia’s strengths: the lowest starting price in the segment, a 360-degree camera from ₹14.34 lakh, the rear seat massager and a 4-year warranty.
What it lacks: ADAS and a hybrid option.
Warranty and service
Every Slavia comes with Skoda Super Care:
- 4 years / 1 lakh km warranty
- 4 years of roadside assistance
- 4 free services (labour only) at 1,000, 7,500, 15,000 and 30,000 km
Our pick: Sportline 1.0 TSI
₹14.34 lakh (manual) or ₹15.34 lakh (automatic).
It has six airbags, the 360-degree camera, a sunroof, the big touchscreen and the digital driver display. It costs only ₹40,000 more than the Signature, which is great value for the 360-degree camera alone.
If you must have ADAS, look at the Honda City ZX or the Hyundai Verna’s top variants. If you want a hybrid, the Honda City is the only option here.
